Implementing Early Treatment of Psychosis -- RAISE ConnectionPsychiatrist Lisa Dixon, M.D., M.P.H., of the New York State Psychiatric Institute and Columbia University Medical Center, told the story of the RAISE Connection Program for treating first episode psychosis at a NIMH Alliance for Research Progress symposium in February 2014. The RAISE Connection Program is a team-based approach to treating first episode psychosis. It was one of two treatment programs studied as part of the NIMH-funded Recovery After an Initial Schizophrenia Episode (RAISE) initiative. Learn more at www.nimh.nih.gov/raise.
