Discover NIMH: Hope for the FutureThe National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) is committed to research training and career development that prepares individuals to conduct innovative research in areas of program relevance that will advance the mission of the Institute.  (0:25) Dr. Nancy Desmond states NIMH’s goal to develop a robust portfolio of researchers for the future. She also notes that having a diverse workforce leads to the inclusion of different perspectives in the research conducted at NIMH.  (0:50) Dr. Janet Clark describes training opportunities at NIMH through the Intramural Research Program.
