HITAC Highlights: Advisory Committee Recommendations Help Inform ONC Policies and Programs

The Health Information Technology Advisory Committee (HITAC) consists of a dedicated group of experts who volunteer their time and expertise to provide recommendations on ONC policies and programs. In 2019, the HITAC delivered recommendations to the National Coordinator focused on the:
  1. ONC proposed rule for the 21st Century Cures Act, in the areas of Information Blocking, Conditions and Maintenance of Certification, Health IT for the Care Continuum, and the U.S.
