On April 14, 2022, CGMHR hosted a webinar focused on how to prepare and submit grant applications to NIH. The webinar covered how those applications are processed, routed, and then evaluated through the peer review process. Nick Gaiano, Ph.D., discussed the importance of following both the SF424 application instructions as well as the instructions found in Section IV of NIH funding opportunity announcements. In addition, Dr. Gaiano covered best practices and helpful tips to consider when preparing an application to improve the chances of success.
